Limited Warranty Information - Applicable to All Products
TAYLOR MADE PRODUCTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY DAMAGES OR REMEDIES NOT SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY. TAYLOR MADE PRODUCTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE, IN THE EVENT, FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE COST OF THE PRODUCT. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL NOT BE EXTENDED BEYOND THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES HEREIN. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
All potentially defective products must receive a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) # before they are returned to Taylor Made Products. Products returned without an RGA# will be refused, and the product will be returned to sender. To receive an RGA#, call us at 1-800-628-5188. All products returned to us MUST be accompanied by a proof of purchase, without exception. Freight on defective products is the responsibility of the consumer (UPS is the preferred method of returning a product to us). Repaired or replacement products will be shipped back to the consumer freight prepaid.
This written warranty is the only warranty expressed or implied, made by Taylor Made Products. No person is authorized to change, add to, or create any warranty or obligation other than set forth herein. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. Freight on returned products is the responsibility of the consumer. Repaired or replacement products will be shipped back to the consumer freight prepaid.

Trailerite® boat covers and Bimini BoaTops® to be free of defects in material and workmanship. The different types of products, and their warranty periods, are specified below:
Boat Guard Rainbreaker covers: 1-year limited warranty
Boat Guard covers: 2-year limited warranty
Boat Guard Prism covers: 5-year limited warranty
Boat Guard SST covers: 2-year limited warranty
Trailerite® boat covers: 2-year limited warranty
Trailerite® Hot Shot™ boat covers: 5-year limited warranty
Bimini BoaTops® 2-year limited warranty
This limited warranty pertains to defects in material and workmanship only.
Damage caused by improper use or care is not covered by this warranty.
Examples of damage that is not covered are:
• Allowing water, snow, or ice to pool or puddle on the product.
• Tears or rips caused by failure to protect the product from sharp objects.
• Wind damage due to improperly tying down of the product.
• Fabric discoloration or failure due to chemical exposure (includes tree sap, bird droppings, oil, and gas).
• Mildew caused by dirt resting on the product, or the product being stored while damp.
• Damage caused by acts of God.

Under the terms of this warranty, any Trailerite® boat cover or Bimini BoaTop® found to be defective will be repaired or replaced, at Taylor Made Products’ option. If minor repairs can return the product to useful service, it will be repaired at no charge. If the product is beyond minor repair, the cost of replacement (a new product) will be calculated by subtracting the residual value of the defective product from the current actual retail price for the same item. When you call us for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) #, we can estimate the replacement cost of the product.
This warranty is in lieu of all warranties, express or implied, and under no circumstances shall Taylor Made Products be liable for any damages in excess of the boat cover’s original purchase price.
